Great experience over all! I was there for a conference but my husband came along too and we enjoyed some time together in Banff and throughout the park. Hotel is easily located to walk or bike to almost everything in town. The location and views were so gorgeous! Staff were professional and very nice. I appreciated the texts to check in on us. I love the aroma of the air freshener you use in the lobby area. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

I came for a weekend getaway alone. It’s so nice to be pampered. I love the new text feature, you can text a concierge with questions and someone will answer 24 hours. I think for a real dose of downtime fewer chatty interactions is really helpful. I super appreciate that feature this time. I booked a treatment at the spa to enjoy the pools and outdoor hot tub. Three things. 1) A massage with Paul was the only appointment available, I wasn’t sure about a male masseuse. Completely 100% comfortable, kudos to Paul, would book again. 2) It’s winter so I wasn’t sure about walking out to the hot tub. Do it. It was sunny and beautiful and a treat to be outside even on a winter day. Good for the soul. 3) The pool room is warm like a tropical hot house, bring a paper book and read. So good to be that warm and relaxed on a sunny lounger in the winter. Stay Beautiful. - Shannon

We had a fantastic time visiting the Banff Springs. Beautiful property and close to so many activities. A special shout out to Scott Berry, our private tour guide for a moonlit snowshoe tour. This was the highlight of our trip. Scott was so interesting and knowledgeable -- about wildlife, the history of the area, star-gazing, geology and so much more. We loved our snowshoe tour and have been telling all our friends about it. Highly recommend!

I booked a massage at Willow Stream Spa and also enjoyed the mineral pool and outdoor hot tub. The massage was very relaxing, and was exactly what my body needed. Erin was the spa therapist who administered the massage and her technique is very relaxing. The time spent outside in the hot pool, under the stars was my favourite experience. Surrounded by evergreen trees and the warmth of the hot pool was sublime. I loved looking up at the clear sky, filled with stars, and nothing else.

Well this was definitely so far best Hotel experience here in Alberta! Bedroom was decent size we also had separate living room. Living room had all amenities available, like mini fridge, coffee station, small office desk and Bose audio player. Didn't turn TV over the weekend so can tell you what's on it. Hotel it self is huge, at first could be a bit confusing, many nooks, long hallways, boutique shops, bars, pastry shops, own liquor store and list goes on. There is a heritage room for people who wants to know the history behind the Hotel which I founded interesting. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant 1888 Chop House, what an experience, steak was cooked how we wanted it. wine selection is huge, waiting staff was excellent. Spa was also good outside hot spring pool was really nice. Spa it self it is dated. There is a bar in the swimming pool area serving alcoholic and soft drinks. Will we ever go back - for sure, it is definitely worth the experience.

We stayed in GOLD. you made our anniversary feel so special. We felt safe everywhere. Staff is amazing. Paradise in the Rockies. Nothing we’ve ever done can compare. There is something magical and romantic about stepping back in time into this beautiful castle.

I loved it here. We stayed in the royal suit and the view from up there was AMAZING. The bed was comfortable to sleep and the service was great. They have one of the best steaks and turkey sandwich out there. Check in was very welcoming and easy, polite staff. Great place to stay and venture.

The crown jewel of accommodation in Western Canada - and it sure was a treat to visit. We had married the day before we visited, following an arduous trek up Sulphur Mountain; we sat in the hotel cafe for a nice hot spiced apple cider. The furnishings, staff, commercial intrascape of this architectural behemoth are superior in every way - and you can stay at the hotel quite reasonably. They have 735 rooms, so keep an eye out for saleable prospects.

Booked for one night and ended up extending it to two nights due to snow but we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay for our 'decadent girls' getaway'.The service is impeccable, the food delicious, and the Ghost and Heritage Tour we took in the evening was so much fun!Floating in the outdoor pool a special treat.Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

The Fairmont in Banff is a beautiful castle in the Rockies. But what makes it the best is the service of the people. I had the pleasure of working with Diane and Don on my small management meeting (14 people) We were treated like VIPS with guidance and help with rooms, breaks, meals, timing, a visit from Bear (resident VIP dog) and two guided tours. They did it ALL for our team. Diane is the most genuine and caring person I have ever met. I will be back and can not wait to show off our event to other planners!

This hotel/resort met and exceeded all of our expectations! The setting is so beautiful and the staff …. Well they are the best I have ever seen at a hotel. Friendly, happy and helpful beyond words, they seem so invested in their jobs it’s inspiring. About the room : we had a king mountain view and the bed was very comfortable the room was a good size ( not cramped) . We loved how the hotel embraced the old with the new . The bathroom and closet door still have original glass/brass knobs with original doors ( so heavy ) the bathtub is cast iron!! Great for soaking . The floor and tub surround are marble, obviously not original but a nice touch . We cannot wait to come back here. Easily 5 stars on this one ❤️

Unexpectedly upgraded to Gold. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was small but enough and updated. The shower had multiple jets, such luxury. The opportunities to eat on site are ample and delicious. Schnitzel and fondue anyone? The pool is lovely indoor and out. Felt safe and sanitized. Best part was the staff, Tania and the rest of the team were such great hosts, helpful and kind. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Staff is amazing as it always is at Fairmont. Banff springs has a lot of interesting history and rooms. We thought the two story turret would be fun but too many stairs to get there and a tiny window on the living floor. Don’t recommend it for most people. Staff was great and moved us to a lovely studio. Great view, fireplace , chandelier and lovely mounding. Gorgeous room. Staff as always is fantastic. Concierges very helpful in finding and reserving great restaurants. Lovely buffet breakfast. Spa and pool are amazing. Highly recommend this place to couples and families.

Stayed here with several others for dinner and the food was great. I had the 16oz prime rib and it definitely did not disappoint. The hotel itself has a timeless elegance and the restaurant was very classy. Strongly recommend stop if you are visiting around Banff Springs. Shout out to Tim for being a great host.

Our pinnacle experience at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was made especially wonderful by the superb attention to detail and the added thoughtful touches from Mr. Don Mooney, the VIP Concierge. Our spectacular suite was superbly appointed and had room for our family to come and visit as we commemorated the life and times of Phyllis Slater - a lady who had been among the very first winter visitors with her family, and who visited on several Christmas and other occasions over the years. We had arranged for William Cunningham to perform on the piano at the Springs and his choice of music was perfect for our family gathering. Don had arranged for us to enjoy the outdoor Dome Dining experience where Bria provided excellent service throughout the 4 course event. She was attentive, kind and ready to accommodate any request made. Our experience lasted into the late evening with easy conversation between excellently prepared and beautifully presented culinary creations from the chef. We were delighted Chef came out to the Dome, and everyone had compliments to offer. The Banff Springs Hotel is our favorite mountain destination in the Canadian Rockies and we are pleased to highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to enjoy all it has to offer. It is a crown jewel of not only architecture but also service and amenities.

The staff was unbelievable. We were being quite picky about our room choice and they were incredibly accommodating. Lia and Deon were amazing. They went above and beyond to help us find the perfect room. It was beyond our expectations. Lia found us a room we couldn’t have been happier with. They were so accommodating. This hotels level of service is top notch. Thanks guys Edit: We had to mention by name two people that also stood out during our stay. Our server Erik at our private brunch was kind, efficient and made sure we had a perfect experience. Marissa at the fire pits who has served me twice now is phenomenal. She is fast, patient and even remembered me from last time. Thanks for making this weekend spectacular.

Un muy bonito hotel con espectaculares vistas de montaña, decoración clásica amplios corredores, buen restaurante. Cerca del pueblo de Banff y enclavado en las Montañas Rocosas, es uno de los principales iconos turístico de la zona. Se permite hacer recorridos por el edificio.
